We hold dances at two venues: St Mark's Community Centre, Bath & Midsomer Norton Town Hall
If all goes to plan we will have dances every Saturday evening at St Mark's Community Centre and 1st and 3rd Friday's evenings at Midsomer Norton Town Hall.
St Mark's Hall, Saturday Evenings: 22nd April and 20th May:
- 8pm doors open, arrivals register, remove socks/shoes & have a chance to meet others and dance to intro music.
- 8:15pm doors to venue shut, warm up body/breath work with Abi
- 8:15-9:30pm dance
- 9:30-10pm cool down, stretch, closing with circle with Abi
Midsomer Norton Town Hall, Friday evenings: 5th and 19th May, slight difference to timings: 7:30-9:30pm.
Until we get into a rhythm times may vary slightly by 10/15mins max

The music has been arranged to help you warm up at the beginning (focusing on connecting with our body/breath) tempo of music gradually moves up to reach a peak with high energy music such as ‘Firestarter’ from The Prodigy, followed by warm down music towards the end of the evening. So you should feel a great sense of well-being relaxation.
Abi the organiser is a health professional, a qualified Ecstatic DJ and Dance the Medicine Facilitator. Abi has been a conscious dancer for 25+ years, having attended 100s of dances in UK and abroad & has found this type of dance great as a stress reliever, wonderful for fitness, balance & coordination, whilst also being fun, a giggle because it’s not stuffy or serious! Plus, it doesn’t require that you’re overly coordinated!! More fun than going to the gym and a nice way to meet and connect with others, what's not to love!
Move at your own pace, wherever the music takes you! You may wish to sit/lay down for some of the time & that’s fine too! Some might want to dance together others may wish to get into a zone on their own with the music.
Disclaimer, the serious bit, the organiser will do her best to keep the space as safe as possible for everyone.
In buying a ticket you are confirming you are well & physically able to attend this 2hr dance. That you will go at your own pace so as to avoid injuring yourself/others.
