Join us for an Ecstatic Dance hosted by Anna Schwyter & Audrey Jansen!Ecstatic Dance is created with the intention of gathering together to move our bodies in a freeform movement journey while held in a safe and sacred container. It's a place we can experience being our unique, raw selves and feeling connected to a common source. Ecstatic dance is all about really being present in and feeling your body, moving with the waves of your soul, and having a healing emotional experience in community.
There are only a few expectations:
1. We dance without words. This makes a meditative or trance state more accessible. During the active dance, there is no verbal instruction from the facilitator and no talking from/between the dancers (while on the dance floor). Quiet conversation is always welcomed in the lobby of the studio.
2. We dance barefoot and as we are: no drugs or alcohol, no phones, no camera or video, no scents, no expectations/judgements, no “shoulds”; just be you with respect for the space, self, and others.
Held at Seek Yoga Studio on Saturday, October 4th, $18 investment.
