About this Event
Is this day for you?
This day is designed specifically for clinical, therapeutic, educational, and organisational supervisors who:
- Hold responsibility for others’ emotional worlds, development, and safety
- Value reflective, relational supervision but feel the strain of doing it well
- Are curious about nature-based, sensory-informed ways of supporting supervision and regulation
- Want CPD that is deep, practical, and genuinely restorative, not another day in a training room
Whether you supervise therapists, practitioners, staff teams, or students, this day offers a grounded, evidence-based way to strengthen both your supervision practice and your own nervous system.
What kind of day is this?
This is not a sit-and-listen training.
It’s an embodied, reflective, and relational learning experience, held gently within woodland space.
Across the day we’ll move between:
- Nature-based exercises
- Pausing and noticing
- Structured reflection and dialogue
- Experiential learning grounded in theory
The pace is intentional. The woods help regulate what busy systems often struggle to slow down.
What you’ll experience
You’ll be guided through:
An introduction to the EcoSensory Therapy model, adapted for supervision contexts
An exploration of the neurobiological, developmental, and relational foundations underpinning nature- and sensory-informed work
Practical, adaptable nature-based tools you can use in: Clinical supervision; Educational or organisational supervision; Leadership and staff support
Time away from pressure, targets, and cognitive overload
A supportive group environment that values honesty, reflection, and shared professional experience
Why bring supervision into nature?
Nature offers a powerful, evidence-informed context that can:
- Support regulation and co-regulation
- Deepen reflective capacity
- Restore clarity, creativity, and perspective
- Strengthen relational safety and supervision alliances
What you’ll leave with
By the end of the day, you can expect:
- A grounded understanding of EcoSensory Therapy principles
- Clear insight into how nature supports regulation, reflection, and supervision quality
- Practical tools you can ethically and safely integrate into your work
- A renewed sense of steadiness, perspective, and professional nourishment
- The feeling of having been both supported and gently stretched
Food, warmth & care
