About this Event
This workshop is for current K–12 classroom teachers.
Find out how Green Map, a locally-led sustainability mapmaking project, could benefit your learning objectives, your students and your community. Come learn from Wendy Brawer, the eco designer who has led the development of Green Map System’s iconography, mapping and engagement resources since inception, on how you can use the non-profit’s mapping platform, or create a printed map or an experience that brings local nature, culture, climate justice and green living to life. This open-source project is free for non-commercial projects - come and see examples from some of the 65 countries where Green Mapmaking has taken root in schools and youth programs, and find out how to involve your students in this capacity- building activity.
