When we think of marine conservation, images of coral reefs and majestic whales often come to mind. But there is a "hidden hero" that helps anchor the entire marine ecosystem—the underwater meadows of seagrass. These meadows are vital to the ocean’s lungs, its carbon vaults, and as a nursery for countless species. Yet, they are disappearing at an alarming rate.

Join us for an evening of exploration with Dr. Katie Watson, a leading marine ecologist and Co-Chair of the IUCN Seagrass Specialist Group. We will go beyond the surface to understand the intricate balance between restoration, conservation, and human impact.
