You are all warmly invited to the 3-day event "EcoCinema and Youth: Forging Visual Activist Cultures & Pedagogies” that will take place on May 26-28 (Trondheim, Campus Kalvskinnet, Akrinn, L402). This event marks a collaboration between NTNU/ILU’s research group TransLit: Sustainable Ethics, Affects and Pedagogies and the international research project Cinema and Environment 2: Ways of seeing beyond the Anthropocene. The group Team Sæpmie, the LGBTQ+ Staff Network, and the research project Narrating Sustainability are also supporting this initiative.
We have lined up a list of wonderful speakers from NTNU (Julia Leyda, Hanna Musiol, Alyssa Lowery, Tom Nurmi) together with local and international guests including Sissel M Bergh (Southern Saepmie/Norway), Camilla Drege (Trondheim/Norway), Ada Maricia Patterson (Barbados/London/Amsterdam), Katarzyna Paszkiewicz (University of the Balearic Islands, Spain), EJ Renold (Manchester Metropolitan University, UK), and the Wimblu Collective (San José, Costa Rica).
The program will be included shortly.
Cheers,
Libe, Kata, Amina, and Polina, on behalf of the teams involved
