About this Event

EcoArts Classes at Youngstown!

Come to Youngstown from 5-7pm every Thursday with your family and friends to create art using natural materials. These guided, free EcoArts classes are a space for you to learn more about local plants, crafts, and get to know your Delridge neighbors. This is a family friendly, all ages welcome environment. Projects have included creating biodegradable clay sculptures, making seed papers, and much more.

Each class is led by one of our resident teaching artists part of DNDA's affordable housing program for artists at Youngstown Cultural Arts Center, including Franc Monke. We are looking forward to exploring all the possibilities of EcoArts with you! All ages welcome and no experience required.

Classes are free, donations to DNDA are encouraged. Donations go directly to paying equitable wages to the teaching artists who lead our art classes and into our broader Delridge community through Art programs.

This is a donations-based class. Donations go directly to paying equitable wages to the teaching artists who lead our art classes and into our broader Delridge community through programs. Suggested donation is $5. Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association (DNDA) is a local nonprofit that integrates Art, Nature, and Neighborhood through quality and accessible programming held year round. Check out our website for additional information at dnda.org.

See you there!

About DNDA

Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association (DNDA) is a nonprofit organization devoted to social, racial and environmental justice. We are dedicated to preserving and increasing affordable housing for a range of incomes, enhancing the natural environment, and providing such vital resources as arts and cultural opportunities, education and youth programs for our neighbors. Our programs for affordable housing and wetland restoration have become models for other communities. We rely on donor support to help fund the programs that build and sustain a dynamic Delridge community.
