The Toowoomba Spinners, Weavers & Dyers Group’s Eco Printing Workshop - Sunday 19th April 2026.Eco Printing is a natural dyeing technique that uses natural plant material to create patterns on material. The process transfers the natural pigments in leaves and flowers onto material to create unique and permanent prints.
This Workshop is open to the public and participants will learn what plants give the best results, how to use mordants to make the end results colour-fast and end the day with a lovely, one-off scarf.
Cost: to non-members is $60.00, which includes a kit containing a wool scarf, and everything needed to complete the Eco printing technique.
Cost to members is $20.00 (members bring their own scarf and plant material).
Time: 9:30 am to approximately 2:30 pm.
Bring your own lunch, Tea & Coffee is supplied. Bring your own cup/mug is you would like.
