Our April concert is a journey to the echoes of the past and the wonderment of childhood. Neighborhood friends… Favorite pastimes… Soaring on a swing with the sun on your face… We reminisce about the joys of time gone by and celebrate the dreams of children. Through a collaboration with the non-profit, Sing Me a Story, we are premiering a piece written by Morningside University student Timothy Haulbach with an autobiographical text written by 10 year old Mason, a Northwest Iowa child with special needs. Along with reflecting our own pasts, we will sing selections highlighting some of Mason’s favorite things and future ambitions.
