At the shop, we’re excited to host a conversation centered on Paul Kendrick's Nine Days—a powerful look at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s strategies and courage, and what they still teach us today as Chicagoans working to protect our rights and strengthen our communities. Paul will share this compelling story of effective activism and political bravery, then open the floor for a discussion about the future we want to build together. He’ll also talk about why he’s running for state representative, and why sending a longtime advocate for our community to Springfield matters now more than ever.
