Sydney Priest's Bachelor of Fine Arts exhibition "Echoes of Memories" is on view in the UAF Art Gallery from October 6th-16th, with an opening reception on October 6th from 5pm-7pm. This show features an original story told in digital illustrations, along with a short pen and ink comic.Sydney is a storyteller who approaches her work through a vibrant lens, infusing bold color, dynamic composition, and expressive detail with imaginative visuals. She strives to craft immersive worlds and characters that people can relate to, inviting the viewer into a moment, memory, or idea. She's inspired by art that carries stories and history within its form--works passed down through generations to share life lessons or preserve cultural memory.
