Get ready for a special 90-minute Traditional Bachata experience with internationally recognized instructors Fausto Felix from NYC and Tamara Valle from Dallas. Fausto is the founder of NY Style Bachata and Director of Fuerza Dance Studios โ a world champion dancer, choreographer, artistic director, and one of the leading names helping push Dominican Bachata to the global stage. Alongside him is Tamara Valle, director and choreographer of Mademoiselle Dance Company, whose background in Bachata, Zouk, Hip Hop, Salsa, and Heels brings incredible versatility, musicality, and movement to every class.
Together, this newly formed duo has been traveling around the world making their mark through workshops, performances and hosting events that stay true to the roots of Dominican Bachata. Expect a high-energy class focused on the rhythms, footwork, partner connection, and musicality that have made this traditional style explode in popularity worldwide. Whether youโre new to Traditional Bachata or already love the style, this workshop will leave you inspired, challenged, and ready to hit the social floor all night long.

Kick off the night with a complimentary Beginner Salsa On2 class taught by one of Austinโs most sought-after instructors, Gerard Smithwrick. With over 10 years of experience, Gerard is known for his smooth flair, incredible body movement, and standout teaching ability that makes learning fun, approachable, and exciting for dancers of all levels. Whether youโre completely new to salsa or looking to make the transition from Salsa On1 to Salsa On2, this class is the perfect place to start. Bring a friend and come build your confidence before the social begins!
