Bereavement Life Skills Session – Easy Read
This session is about bereavement.
Bereavement means when someone you care about has died.
The session will be run by Simon Says, a local charity who support people who are grieving.
This will be a gentle and friendly session.
You do not have to talk if you do not want to.
What will happen on the day
- We will learn about Simon Says
- We will use blob cards to talk about different feelings
- We will learn about growing around grief using simple ideas
- We will make a salt memory jar to remember someone special
- You can share a photo or memory if you want to (this is optional)
You may like to bring a photo or small item that reminds you of someone special who has died.
This is your choice.

There will be lunch and time to chat together.
