About this Event
A workshop of knowledge and interaction for researchers working on, or interested in, bioelectrochemical systems for the environment. This event will strengthen your knowledge on bioelectrochemical systems and give you tools to improve the impact of your research.
Thursday 12 December to Friday, 13 December 2024, at Newcastle University. All-day.
REGISTER YOUR 'EXPRESSION OF INTEREST' VIA EVENTBRITE
We will then contact people by email (once all event details are confirmed) to offer places. [NOTE: An expression of interest is NOT an offer of a place!]
This event is heavily subsidised and the organiser will ask for a contribution towards costs to the amount of £100 from each attendee. A limited number of travel bursaries will be offered to the first 20 EBNet ECR members who register through our EBNet Eventbrite page.
This workshop was first run in November 2023. The Environmental Biotechnology Network Bioelectrochemical Working Group have organised this training for a second time to support the practical skills of working with BEC systems. It is an unparalleled opportunity to network, gain valuable specialist skills and learn more about BEC via facilitated activities.
Throughout the day, you’ll participate in practical, lab-based guided sessions intended to develop your skills as a researcher. More details online at: EBNet Working Group: Bioelectrochemical Development for Environmental Technology
