Evidence Based Birth® Childbirth Class - Virtual Experience - 4 week Accelerated Class

Special Notation for this class: this is an accerated class format. We will be meeting each week for 2 hours to go through the 6 weeks of material in a 4-week time frame.

Are you looking for a childbirth class that gives you the flexibility of learning online, but also the support and encouragement from an instructor/mentor

Current Class format; dates/times:

Tuesday, May 6: 6pm -8pm EST- First Zoom: Discussion of EBB® Childbirth Class Orientation online material and Birth timeline activity
Tuesday, May 13: 6pm -8pm EST- Zoom Call 2: Covering online material and discussion questions for Weeks 1 and 2
Tuesday, May 20: 6pm -8pm EST- Zoom Call 3: Covering online material and discussion questions for Weeks 3 and 4
Tuesday, May 27: 6pm -8pm EST- First Zoom - Final Zoom Call: Discussion of online material from week 5, practical walk through birth time line, discussion of Postpartum care for family and newborn.
If for any reason, you are unable to attend one of the calls, please make sure to let me know. If we are able to make it up at another time, we will do our best to do that for you.

Evidence Based Birth® believes that every person has their own unique path. Instead of focusing on medicated vs. unmedicated birth, we focus on giving you tools and helping you learn the evidence, so that you can be empowered to make your own decisions! We do have a strong emphasis on non-drug comfort measures, because they have no side effects and can be used by everyone, whether or not you plan to use medications.

At the end of this class, my goal is that you have the ability to communicate your goals and expectations for your birth experience to the collaborative team working to support you. Being heard, respected and empowered in your choices.
