Eat|Drink|Architecture 2025
Join us for Eat|Drink|Architecture 2025!
This popular annual event blends great food, drinks, and architecture into a unique walking tour of downtown Des Moines. Participants will visit four Full Court Press establishments—Hessen Haus, Royal Mile, Ken’s Speakeasy, and the new Fong’s Pizza location in the East Village—while enjoying a guided tour of notable architectural landmarks along the way.
How It Works:
This year will again feature a "shotgun start." When you register, you’ll select your preferred starting location from one of the four participating venues. All groups will begin their tour at 1:00 PM and rotate through the remaining stops throughout the afternoon.
At each location, you’ll enjoy a featured food and adult beverage selection, along with engaging conversation and insights from your tour volunteers. As you walk between stops, knowledgeable docents will guide you through the history and architectural highlights of the East Village, Downtown, and Court Avenue Districts.
