The story is full of music, dance, laughs, and the age-old tale of Boy Meets Girl... Anything Goes is Delightful, Delicious and De-Lovely! Set in the 1930s on The S.S. American, a luxury liner sailing from New York to London in 1934.
Book direction and choreography by Denise Bollinger and Music Direction by Renée Davenport
Auditions - will be Sunday & Monday, April 27th & 28th at 6:30pm with Call backs TBD at Tallgrass Theatre Co. 2019 Grand Ave, Suite 100 in West Des Moines.
Roles available: 7 Principal characters 3M/4F with 8 Supporting and Ensemble characters.
What to Bring: prepare 16-32 bars of a song not from this musical and not a cappella. Please bring a copy of the sheet music or a blue tooth device with the musical track. A short monologue is optional but not required. You can bring dance shoes to the audition, but the dance call will be at callbacks.
*Please arrive early to fill out an audition sheet with vocal range and dance experience. Also bring a headshot or recent photo to share with the casting team.
Show dates are June 12-14th, evenings and performed OUTDOORS. We perform at the Jamie Hurd Amphitheater in West Des Moines. A rain date will be scheduled and used if necessary.
