Join the Easy Skankin crew as they will throw the ultimate Reggae party at The Fortune of War on Friday 11th April. They'll be playing a selection on Reggae, Ska, Rubadub, Roots, Dancehall, Bashment plus some Ragga Hip Hop and Jungle.
Easy Skankin’ are a collective of some of the best Reggae DJs in Brighton. All have impressive backgrounds, which when bought together promises to uplift your soul as you skank to the sounds of Ska, Rocksteady, Roots, Rubadub and Dancehall!
DJ Felix played for the legendary Brixton based Sir Coxsone Outernational Sound System. He regularly toured the world and played alongside sound systems like Channel 1, Mad Professor, Aba Shanti & Iration Steppas. He also started at the Volks Tavern at the age of 18, where he played for 15 years. He has held residences at The Pressure Point, Riki Tiks, The Richmond and with Global Beats promotions supporting artists like Maxi Priest, Eek a Mouse, Max Romeo, Horace Andy and many more.
As a founding member of Tuckshop Music, Tooley's got over 10 years experience of digging crates and providing sweet selections. With a keen ear to nice up the dance, expect a vinyl only blend of reggae, rubadub and dancehall
