Join the Maryland Arborist Association and Maryland Occupational Safety and Health for the 10th Annual Day of Safety and Health, an interactive, hands-on training event designed to help arborists and green industry professionals stay safe, informed, and compliant in the field.
This full-day program will feature a series of practical demonstrations and expert-led sessions covering critical topics such as Maryland heat stress standards, first aid and emergency preparedness, DOT inspections, pesticide safety, and tree hazard evaluation before climbing. Attendees will also gain valuable insights from real-world case studies, mock inspections, and an engaging lunch presentation exploring the evolution of the professional arborist.

- A mock roadside inspection by MOSH with a bucket truck and chipper setup
- Stop the Bleed training from Tidal Health on preparing for first responders
- Load weight demonstrations with mobile scales by MDOT
