UNAGI
A Western Mass hip-hop pioneer, Unagi started making music back in the 90s, with his crew Discs of Tron. He spent many years in San Francisco, establishing his label 442 Records and working with a wide assortment of underground OGs. Now based in the deep woods of Colrain, he continues to keep it funky, specializing in nostalgic raps steeped inthe golden era tradition.
MeccaGodZilla (formerly of Monsta Island Czars)
Born in Brooklyn and raised in Long Island, MeccaGodZilla is a music producer, MC, artist, and activist. Described by The Japan Times to have "a style that brings to mind the likes of RZA and MF Doom.
He has worked with artists and brands all over the world notably NIKE, Capcom, Spike TV, Universal Japan, Warner Japan, Armani Exchange Japan, Eric Bobo of Cypress Hill, Sean Price, Mega Ran, RODAN, Kong, and lots more. Currently, Mecca releases music through his indie label MANAFEST VISION, mentors and collaborates with artists from Asia, runs the streetwear brand Arigatz, is an active organizer for the Black VegFest in Brooklyn, and is an official US cultural ambassador of Hip-Hop to Uzbekistan, Malawi, and Nepal via Next Level USA.
Dome Lettuce
A 22 year old rapper and producer from Northampton Massachusetts. He has released over a dozen self produced albums since becoming active in 2019 and has collaborated with a variety of artists both local and abroad.
Soma79
A hip-hop artist and storyteller from Hadley, MA, blending boom-bap grit, sharp lyricism, and surreal visuals. A longtime fixture in indie hip-hop, Soma79 has shared stages with legends like Onyx, RA the Rugged Man, and Kool Keith and is almost complete with “Sunny Days, Hairy Nights,” a collaboration album with Young Hump of Digital Underground.
DJ Disctr@ction
Aka Nitin Mukul, the Queens based Epicenter NYC Co-founder and Creative Director has Deejayed for Unagi, Himalayan Project, supergroup Wankfactor 7 (feat. J Mascis & Kevin Shields), opened for Camp Lo, and has lots of exciting projects on the horizon.
