Join us for the Easter Vigil, the first celebration of Easter in the Episcopal Church and one of the most beautiful and meaningful liturgies of the Christian year.The service begins in darkness as we kindle the new fire and light the Paschal Candle, symbolizing Christ’s light entering the world. Through scripture readings, prayers, and music, we recall the great story of salvation—from creation through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
As the service moves from darkness into light, we joyfully proclaim the resurrection and celebrate the Holy Eucharist together.
The Easter Vigil is rich with symbolism and tradition, offering a powerful and memorable way to experience the transition from Good Friday’s solemn reflection to the joy of Easter.
