On Easter Sunday (5 April), you're invited to join us for worship at dawn, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus as we see the sun rise over Lake Burley Griffin.What to expect
We'll have a relaxed worship service, where we sing together, pray, hear the story of the resurrection as its told in the Bible, and have a brief message. You'll get a printed schedule so you know what's happening when and you can join in as much or as little as you like.
After worship, some wonderful volunteers will be cooking a breakfast for us (including hot cross buns!)
During worship we'll be sharing Holy Communion together - this is a special meal for Christians which Jesus gave to his followers just before his crucifixion. Anyone who believes in Christ is welcome to join in - but if you're not sure about it all you're welcome to just sit back and observe.
Should I bring anything?
You'll only need a picnic blanket or camp chair to sit on.
Even though it's not ANZAC Day yet, we'll be meeting pretty early, so you'll probably want to rug up.
