FREE COMMUNITY EVENT – Easter at Liberty!Sunday, April 5, 2025 | SERVICE STARTS AT 11:00 AM | Easter Egg Hunt to follow
Join us at Liberty Baptist Church for a special outdoor Easter service (weather permitting), followed by two age-specific Easter Egg Hunts for children up to age 12! After that, a free lunch is offered to everybody.
EASTER EGG HUNTS:
Start Time: Approximately 10–15 minutes after the service ends (around 12:15 PM, though exact time may vary).
LOCATION:
Behind Liberty Baptist Church
AGE GROUPS:
- Ages 6 & under
Parents may use discretion for very young children. We recommend at least one parent or guardian accompany any child under age 4. If your child doesn’t gather many eggs, let us know and we will make sure they still receive something.
- Ages 7–12
This group includes a special “GOLDEN EGG” containing a cash prize voucher! The voucher must be turned in to the Pastor to claim the prize. A parent or guardian must be present to receive the cash reward on the child’s behalf.
📏 EGG HUNT GUIDELINES:
For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, please follow these simple rules:
- No climbing on buildings, trees, or other structures.
- No cutting people off, pushing, or throwing.
- Any behavior deemed unsafe or harmful may result in immediate removal from the activities.
EASTER WORSHIP SERVICE:
If weather allows, we’ll gather outside on the east side of the church property at 11:00 AM for a service.
Service duration: Approx. 50–60 minutes
We are planning to have a children's class during the service (Ages 5-10). Children will receive special activity bags to help them engage with the service
WEATHER PLAN:
We’re prepared for less-than-perfect weather. Here's the plan:
- If it’s raining, exceptionally cold, or if the forecast (4+ days in advance) includes:
- Temps below 55°F
- Winds over 10–12 mph
- 30% or more chance of rain
…then the service will be moved indoors.
However, unless it’s raining or under 55°F, we will still plan to have the Easter Egg Hunt outside. If we must cancel the hunt, no worries! Each child will receive a bunch of eggs (randomized) on the way out. Have those baskets/bags ready! The Golden Egg will not be part of the activities if we have to cancel the hunt.

This Easter Egg Hunt has been featured on KOAM News the past two years. If you do not want you or your children to be featured in any news, please let the staff know ASAP. There is a chance that local news will be there to get footage of the event.
