Looking for something a little different to do this Easter Monday? Plan to stop by McDougall Cottage for a guided tour of this charming stone house on the banks of the Grand. Learn about the history of the area, hear the stories of the two families of Scottish settlers that first called this house their home, and admire the more than a hundred-year-old hand-painted murals that adorn its ceilings and walls. We’ll have tea and shortbread for all who stop by, and kids will have fun decorating a pot and planting a posy to take home. This is also your chance to explore McDougall’s newest exhibit - Snapshots in Time: Nostalgia and Memory. Drop by anytime between noon and 4 p.m. Admission is by donation.
