Come celebrate Easter Mass with us!On April 5, 1676—Easter Sunday—Kateri Tekakwitha took her baptismal vows on Shrine land. Join us as we celebrate the Risen Christ and Saint Kateri’s example of love for Him.
Our Minister Provincial, Fr. Michael Heine, OFM Conv., will celebrate Mass at 10:30 in historic Saint Peter's Chapel, constructed in 1782. The Saint Kateri National Shrine is a ministry of the Franciscan friars Conventual, which makes this Franciscan Jubilee year an especially meaningful time to visit.
After Mass, there will be the opportunity to visit Saint Kateri's baptismal spring, which still flows on these grounds. The path leading down to the spring can be reached through our trail network or by public road.
