Celebrate Easter on the farm with us at Powell Gardens Colonial Farms in Blue Springs, MO. This special day brings together the traditions families have loved at the previously known Colonial Gardens location with an exciting future focused on connecting our community to the land, agriculture, and the joy of being outdoors.
Join us Easter Sunday from 11 AM – 3 PM for an afternoon full of family-friendly fun, farm games, and one of our favorite traditions—our Orchard Egg Hunt!
Each year the Easter Bunny makes a special stop in our orchard, hiding nearly 2,000 eggs and special treats for visitors to discover. To make sure every child gets the chance to enjoy the hunt, families will be invited to choose a row of the orchard before the hunt begins, ensuring everyone has eggs to find and a great experience.
Along with the egg hunt, families can enjoy playful competitions, farm games, and meet some of our adorable farm animals. It’s the perfect way to spend Easter afternoon surrounded by springtime on the farm.

Explore the farm, grab a snack, and get ready for a fun-filled afternoon.
🥚 12:00 PM — Orchard Egg Hunt Begins
The Easter Bunny has hidden nearly 2,000 eggs throughout our orchard! (BYOB – Bring Your Own Basket)
🏃♂️ 1:00 PM — Egg Relay Races
Team up and race to the finish in this hilarious farm challenge.
🐰 1:30 PM — Bunny Hop Races
Hop your way to victory in this crowd favorite for kids and families.
🥚 2:00 PM — Egg Toss Games
Partner up and see who can toss their egg the farthest without cracking!
