Bring your fur baby to our first annual City of Highland Village Easter Egg Houndup!REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE:
• Dogs must wear a collar with a current rabies vaccination tag
• Dogs must remain on a non-retractable leash (six-foot maximum) and under owner control at all times
• Each owner may bring up to two dogs
• Owners must be 16 or older
HOUNDUP ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
• Doggy Egg Hunt - Bring your dog to the K-9 Kastle Dog Park, where the park will be divided into areas for small, medium, and large dogs. Let your pup sniff out treat-filled Easter eggs and bring a basket or bag to collect them and take them home.
• Doggy Costume Contest - Bring your pup to the Kids Kastle Pavilion to enter. Categories include Most Creative, Funniest, Best Owner/Dog Combo, and Cutest. Winners will receive a $25 Petco gift card and will be announced on social media and email after the event.
• Easter Bunny Pics - Take a photo with the Easter Bunny and capture a fun moment with you and your dog. Please bring your own camera for pictures.
• Skills Courses - Test your dog’s agility on one of three skills courses set up in the Unity Park flex field. Each course features a crawl-through tunnel, hurdle, and mini cones for your dog to navigate.
