Misfit Christmas is gearing up for its 10th year anniversary and what a journey it’s been! We are a group of former foster kids, street entrenched folks, as well as other difficult experiences who struggled a lot with the holidays growing up. A lot of us work in community now and decided to put this event together for everyone who didn’t have their own Christmas to attend or felt like they didn’t belong. At misfit Christmas YOU belong here with us and all our differences & quirks :)
This event is a free, sober, family friendly event. The doors open at 2pm, dinner is served at 6pm, and we will be having fun till 10pm! Feel free to show up early, enjoy some snacks, and enjoy our many engagement areas such as:
-Video Games Area
-Movie Area
-Arts & Crafts Area
-Kids Play Area
-Board Games Area
We will also have live performances from some amazing local artists and a time for open mic if anyone wants to share their talents with everyone! Lastly, we make sure everyone who comes to Misfit Christmas leaves with a gift! Gift giving will happen some time after dinner 🍽️
