This spring, BLCK Market returns to East River on the third Saturday of each month, transforming the district into a vibrant celebration of Black-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, artisans, and vendors from across the country. In March and April, BLCK Market will run from 10 AM to 4 PM, and on May 16 the market will be held from 3 to 9 PM.
The Saturday, March 21 “Country” BLCK Market will feature:
· A live country performance by Tavia Brooks (@realtaviabrooks), a Houston-born country and country-pop singer known for her energetic, story-driven songs and captivating stage presence.
· Music and line dance instruction from Line Dance Instructor & DJ Upperechalan (@upperechalan), keeping the crowd moving with interactive dances and party-ready sets.
· Complimentary East River–branded cowboy bandanas (white with red lettering) for the first 100 guests
