Hiking is a great exercise that's accessible, enjoyable, and can be suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels. It's a low-impact activity that works out the whole body, and it can help build stronger muscles and bones.
The panorama from the 2,571 foot peak is breathtaking. On a clear day, view the Farallon Islands out to sea, the Marin County hills, Mount Diablo, San Francisco, and the hills and cities of the bay. Mount Tamalpais State Park is a CA State Park, in Marin County. The primary feature of the park is the 2,571 feet Mount Tamalpais. The park contains mostly redwood and oak forests. The mountain itself covers around 25,000 acres.
We will hike at a comfortable pace miles with brief intermittent stops to ensure the group stays together, and a 30-minute or so snack break.
