Located in East Lyme, Connecticut, this is the culmination of a 24-hour theatre festival that features local volunteer writers, directors, and actors of all ages. Writers have from 7pm on Friday to 8am Saturday morning to write an original one act play (generally a 10-20 page script). Directors then meet with Writers from 8am to 9am on Saturday morning to discuss scripts, and Actors and Directors will rehearse their scenes from 9am-7pm. At 7:30pm, the curtain rises on the scenes as they have been sculpted through the day!
We are very pleased to announce that the final performance of the one act plays will be at the Niantic Bay Playhouse. The Festival is non-profit in nature, and all proceeds from the performance and other donations received will go to the Niantic Bay Playhouse to support their wonderful efforts to bring the arts to downtown Niantic.
Tickets are $10.00 and we accept cash and Venmo at the door. Donations are greatly appreciated and go to support the Niantic Bay Playhouse. Space is limited, so we recommend getting to the Playhouse to get your seats when the doors open at 7:00pm.
