SBA CLUBHOUSE ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF EAST COAST PERFORMANCE ACADEMY — OPENING JANUARY 2026
The SBA Clubhouse is proud to announce the expansion of its nationally recognized baseball and academic program with the launch of the SBA Clubhouse Performance Academy – East Coast, officially beginning in January 2026 for the 2nd Semester of the 2025–2026 academic school year.
This next chapter represents a major milestone for the SBA Clubhouse brand, bringing its proven model of elite coaching, advanced player development, academic excellence, and championship culture to athletes across the East Coast. The East Coast Academy will mirror the same high standards that have defined the success of the SBA Clubhouse Performance Academy – based in Hernando County and its flagship Commanders Varsity and JV teams.
A Complete Academic + Baseball Development System
The SBA Clubhouse Performance Academy – East Coast is a full-time academic and baseball academy designed to prepare student-athletes in grades 6–12 for long-term success — both in the classroom and on the field. The program features designated pitching, hitting, defensive, and strength coaches, providing individualized development and three hours of structured training each day, Monday through Friday.
Student-athletes will also have the opportunity to attend the 2026 Summer Academy Program, with a focus on top-level training, physical development and immediate college exposure through on campus games & events with our Coaching Staff. The Fall 2026 season will include competitive matchups versus regional high schools, JUCOs, and NAIA programs, followed by full participation in the Academy Baseball Association (ABA) during the Spring 2027 season, competing against the nation’s premier academy programs.
Elite Coaching & Academic Excellence
In addition to its established professional staff, SBA Clubhouse has assembled an unprecedented East Coast coaching team comprised of college head and assistant coaches, former professional players, and high-level high school coaches. A full staff announcement and bios will be released soon.
Academically, students will benefit from SBA’s partnerships with Florida Academy of Excellence and NovaPath Academics, both fully accredited educational providers that manage course selection, transcripts, grades, and Bright Futures diploma requirements. Players may also utilize FLVS Flex or other homeschool options under SBA’s academic umbrella.
State-of-the-Art Training Facility
The new East Coast campus will be headquartered at the Volusia Sports Center, a 10,000 sq. ft. indoor air-conditioned training facility featuring a fully equipped gym, pitching lab, advanced technology systems (Flightscope, Rapsodo, HitTrax, Blast and more), Hack Attack machines, hitting cages, outdoor turf training area, and a dedicated study space for student-athletes.
