Join Wasatch E39s on Saturday, September 21st for a fun drive/photo shoot in East Canyon.
Meet at This Is The Place Heritage Park (2601 E Sunnyside Ave, SLC) around 8:30am. We will be leaving promptly at 9:00am, and will head up Emigration Canyon, then East Canyon, then on to Henefer, before making our way back to the valley.
We’ve hired a local photographer, Charles Ray, to take high-quality pictures of our cars, so we’ll be stopping at various points along the way so he can set up and shoot us in action. This drive, then, is likely to be a bit more low-key, with bursts of action here and there. The payoff, of course, is that each participant will receive a digital file of quality, enhanced, high-resolution photos of the drive.
We do need to have at least a good idea of how many cars to expect, so advance registration is required. $40 per car covers the photographer’s fees and nets you great pics. To register, simply comment below and let us know you’re coming (make sure you tell us which car you’re bringing), then Venmo your non-refundable $40 to @Micah-Salmon-1 (last 4 phone number digits: 3377). Please register by Saturday, September 14th. Any registrations received after Wednesday 9/18 will incur a $10 late fee.
After the drive/shoot, we’ll take I-84 from Henefer to I-80 back down to the valley, then head to Feldman’s Deli for lunch (2005 E 2700 S).
This drive is open to all BMWs and other Euros.
