Easel Painting Retreat – Faraway Follies, llandeglaA longer, slower creative experience in the open Welsh landscape.
On Sunday 10th May, you’re invited to step into Pen y Cae, a newly built open-sided stone space at Faraway Follies, overlooking wide panoramic Welsh hills.
This is not a typical art session.
It’s a spacious, unhurried day designed to help you slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect — through painting, landscape, and quiet creative focus.
Life can feel heavy when everything moves too fast.
This is a chance to step out of that pace.
Working at easels, you’ll be gently guided to explore painting inspired by the land in front of you. There is no pressure to produce something perfect — only an invitation to notice, respond, and create.
As the session unfolds, something often shifts.
Your breath deepens.
Your mind quietens.
You begin to feel more present, more grounded, more yourself.
This is where creativity becomes something more than art.
It becomes a way back to yourself.
