Earthfest is a celebration of our relationship with the natural world. Hosted by the Master Gardeners of Frederick County, this is an opportunity for you to learn about the Master Gardener and 4-H programs, other local nonprofits, and relevant Frederick County government agencies. Find out about good environmental practices you can implement in your own backyard. This family-friendly event includes many activities geared towards children, such as flower crafts, Buzzin' Through the Garden, and Storytime in the Garden. There will be displays inside and outside the University of Maryland Extension Building and tours of the Demonstration Gardens. The open house is free and will be held at 330 Montevue Lane, Frederick, on Saturday, May 30, from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
