1pm: Tribal College Fireside Conversation and Listening Session- One of a series of community discussions around Ishkode (fire). These discussions aim to cultivate a network of fire practitioners across the Great Lakes Region, promote sustainable and diverse landscapes, and weave together multiple types of knowledge to help restore and maintain red pine ecosystems. Facilitated by Melonee Montano and Bazile Panek.

5pm: Movie Showing: “Bring them Home” – Bring Them Home tells the story of a small group of Blackfoot people and their mission to establish the first wild buffalo herd on their ancestral territory since the species’ near-extinction a century ago, an act that would restore the land, re-enliven traditional culture and bring much needed healing to their community. (Snacks provided!)
