Happy Spring, everyone! The birds are singing, the flowers are blooming, and the weather's getting nice and warm. That can mean only one thing: it's time to head to beautiful San Luis Obispo for our next Second Saturday Cleanup Event. Join us at Meadow Park (2251 Meadow St) on Saturday, April 11th as we work together to pick up litter in a few areas that could use a little TLC around the city. We'll be meeting up at 10am and working until noon, and we'll even be serving free pizza to all our amazing volunteers after the event. What a treat!We supply everything you'll need to make a difference, including grabbers, bags, safety vests and gloves, and our friends at Central Coast Cleanup Company will be providing disposal for all we collect. All we're missing is you and your desire to make a difference in a community you love.
We do advise that you wear long pants and closed-toed shoes, a hat and/or sunscreen, and that you bring water in a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the event.
