Are you looking to stretch the produce you are already using and help reduce food waste? Join Cole Lindaman from Seeded Ag and learn how to grow more food from the produce you are already purchasing and cook with the parts you normally toss out. By being creative, you can combine traditional recipes with unique flavors and nutritional benefits.

- Regrow green onions and lettuce.
- Seed saving from heirloom plants.
- Turn one potato into several.
Expand your palate by learning to make:
- Root veggie pesto
- Homemade vegetable stock
- Produce chips
Meet the Instructor!
Cole Lindaman is a graduate student at Iowa State University pursuing a Master’s in Community & Regional Planning after earning a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. His work focuses on strengthening local food systems and connecting communities to the sources of their food. Cole is particularly interested in developing accessible forms of urban agriculture that foster community collaboration and sustainability.
