Winter Solstice WeekendThe winter solstice invites us into the deepest stillness of the year to stop, to rest, and to turn inward.
Join Linda for a weekend of honouring the Winter Solstice through earth magic, crafting and nourishing time with the land.
Some of what we will explore and create:
- Earth Candles
- Land Based Body Products
- Simmer pots bags from the apothecary
- we will also explore the wisdom of winter time
Practical Details
Guests arrive at 10am on the Saturday and the weekend completes on Sunday at 3pm. All meals will be shared, pot luck style, and accommodation is included (shared).

About Linda
Hello, my name is Linelder. Linda is my birth name & my Celtic tree is the elder. I have lived & worked on a magickal land on & off for 35 years, where my greatest teacher is the earth beneath my feet. Each season brings its own wisdom & guides the rhythms of my life, forming the calendar by which I measure time.
As a solitary eclectic witch, I have always found strength in my connection to nature & the cycles of the earth. Of late, grief has been a powerful force, pulling me away from my sense of self & the practices that usually anchor me. I am learning to gently honour this, trusting that the wisdom of the seasons will help guide me back.
I am a crone, blessed with four grown children & 9 grandchildren. My life spent tending to this land & support from family & friends has gifted wisdom & a heart full of gratitude. Over the years, I have witnessed the turning of many cycles, each season offering its own lessons through both joy & hardship. I am still learning to listen deeply to the whispers & the stories held in soil, stone, roots & the gentle guidance of ancestral spirits.
I created a small apothecary, crafting herbal remedies & potions, some inspired by ancient traditions — healing plants that are abundant at my front door. Each blend carries with it not only the medicine of the earth but also the intention of healing, protection & nurturing. I am ready to share more about my journey, share stories, knowledge & the lessons I continue to learn here as the Land Matters.
