This year as well as open mics, a raffle bucket and a FREE interval treat, we are proud to announce The Touring Exhibition
'The Future is Ancestral - Marches de Mulheres,
Praying with our Feet', will be part of the evening too!
This forms part of a 2025/26 WLFF collaboration curated by Elena Lengthorn, University of Worcester, based on a Photography Exhibition 'Ancestral March: Indigenous Territory is Body and Spirit' by Maria Clara Belchior.
This work comprised of photos taken in 2019 at Brazil’s first Indigenous Women’s March (Brasilia in 2019).
What is happening in Brazil is political, the impact is global and it is a deeply rooted issue in the climate crisis.
You will be able to see the full exhibition in Worcester later this year. 'The Future is Ancestral - Marches de Mulheres, Praying with our Feet Exhibition'
