Celebrate Earth Day by learning about the library's new worm farm from Let's Go Compost! We'll start with a reading of Lauren Click's The Wild West of Waste. Then participants will break up in to three groups to rotate through stations:
1. Worm craft
2. Worm bin sensory station.
3. Worm compost observation station.
Registration is requested so we know how many supplies to have on hand for a make and take craft. Space is also limited to facilitate three groups to rotate through stations. Some parent/guardian monitoring will be needed.
PLEASE REGISTER EVERYONE ATTENDING - Using this link:

Let’s Go Compost offers public library mini grants that include composting kits and educational materials for kid’s STEM workshops that support indoor and outdoor gardening programs, deliver early childhood soil science lessons, and introduce families to practical zero waste habits. These tools strengthen a library’s ability to deliver environmental education and sustainability programming that engages youth, teens, and adults.
