About this Event
Join fellow members of The Outlier Collective for a Seed Packing Social with Keep Growing Detroit (KGD), hosted at Vámonos. Together, we’ll help KGD prepare seeds that will be shared with local gardeners through their — supporting food sovereignty empowering Detroiters.
This hands-on volunteer social is a chance to:
- Support Detroit growers and local food systems
- Learn more about seed sharing and food sovereignty
- Connect with fellow Collective members and community partners
What we’ll be doing:
Volunteers will help pack and organize seeds that will go directly to Detroit gardeners ahead of the growing season.
Food, drinks & space:
Vámonos is known for blending sustainable healthy food, movement, and joy, making it the perfect place to gather for Earth Day.
Whether you’re a longtime volunteer or brand new to seed packing, this is a relaxed, welcoming way to give back, meet new people, and celebrate community.

If you are not currently a member of The Outlier Collective, we're offering this event on a donation basis. All proceeds from tickets purchased by donation will go toward covering event costs and supporting Outlier Media’s work.
