Join us for a family friendly river cleanup on April 18th, 2026! Cleaning up the banks and bottom of the Spokane River is a great way to volunteer, get some exercise, meet new friends, and help our river! 🗓 Date: Saturday, April 18th, 2026
🕘 Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
📍 Location: High Bridge Park
Parking: there is free parking available on site.
Cost: Free! (Suggested donation of $5 to Spokane Riverkeeper)
Each year for Earth Day our Spokane community removes 11,000+ pounds of trash from High Bridge and People’s Park. This trash would otherwise end up in our river, causing damage to habitat, microplastic pollution, and harm to wildlife.
PNW Espressgo will be on site as well as a to be determinded food truck! We will have a variety of partner organizations there tabling so stick around after cleaning up for some lunch, learning, and engaging activities.

What to Expect:
✔️ All cleanup supplies provided (trash bags, gloves, grabbers)
✔️ Family-friendly and group-friendly
✔️ Volunteer hours available
What to Bring and Wear:
Wear sturdy walking shoes and dress for the weather.
Bring sunscreen, gloves, and a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated while you work.
Bring a trash picker if you have one, we will have a limited number available.
