The center will be hosting a free open house and Earth Day celebration, inviting the community to engage with scientists and nature. The day will feature hands-on exhibits, crafts, interactive science demonstrations and live animals, offering something for all ages. Demonstrations will highlight ongoing research and activities at the USGS center. Visitors can create art from recycled materials, learn about amphibians, birds and fish; discover the importance of bees in backyards and experience a bug bonanza. Additional activities include how to track genetics; appearances by diving ducks; a photo zone and more. Join us for an afternoon of fun!
