The City of Florence and Duke Energy, in partnership with Naturally Outdoors, Keep Florence Beautiful, and the South Carolina Forestry Commission, will host an Earth Day Native Tree Giveaway on Wednesday April 29nd from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Trailhead greenspace located at 2519 W. Palmetto Street.Trees will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Representatives from the South Carolina Forestry Commission will be available to provide information on the tree species being given away, discuss planting techniques, and answer any arbor-related questions.
