About this Event
Let your creativity take root! Join us for a beginner-friendly clay class where you’ll handbuild your own plant pot, vase, or quirky planter pal—no experience needed!
You’ll learn pinch pot and coil techniques with step-by-step guidance from our expert instructor. Whether your monstera needs a new home or your cactus wants an upgrade, you'll leave with a pot as unique as your plant baby.
Each ticket includes:
- Hands-On Instruction: A relaxed, hands-on pottery workshop guided by an experienced host.
- Pottery 101: Learn foundational hand-building techniques like pinch pots and coils, then turn them into functional pottery with pieces like mugs, bowls, vases, or planters. We’ll also show you how to add fun touches like handles or texture.
- All Supplies Provided: We bring the clay, tools, and materials — you just bring yourself.
- Beginner-Friendly Vibes: Laid-back, no-pressure energy perfect for first-timers, solo guests, and friend groups alike.
- Feel-Good Energy: Enjoy a welcoming, community-centered experience hosted at unique local spots — from breweries to plant shops and cozy cafés — that make the experience feel extra special.
Note: After this workshop, you can air-dry your pottery. After a few days, your pottery will be ready to paint! Glazing + Firing (what makes your pottery waterproof and food-safe) is not available at this workshop. Use our Kiln & Ceramic Studio Locator to find a local pro who can glaze and fire your creations for you.
