The 2026 Pickerington Earth Day Celebration will take place on Saturday, April 25, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Pickerington Village. The annual community event brings together volunteers, local organizations and residents for a day focused on environmental stewardship and neighborhood pride.
The day begins at 8 a.m. with a community litter cleanup and tree-planting efforts led by the Pickerington Lions Club. Volunteers will meet near Combustion Brewery & Taproom before heading out to clean roadways and public spaces throughout Violet Township. Participants are encouraged to wear long sleeves and closed-toe shoes.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wild Ones of Fairfield County will host a free tree and shrub giveaway for residents who have registered in advance.
The celebration concludes with a guided wildflower hike at Coyote Run Nature Preserve, led by the Fairfield County Park District. Register with the city of Pickerington's Parks & Rec..
