This is a two-part event! We will start the day with a “Bioblitz,” which is an educational group effort to document plant and animal activity in the area (no experience required and kids are welcome with an adult guardian!) Then, we will pivot to complete trash cleanup along the trails at Aurora Reservoir.
We will be meeting at the swim beach on the northwest side of the reservoir. Please let the folks staffing the gate know that you are attending the Bioblitz and reservoir cleanup and they will let you in for free.
The city will be providing everything needed, including gloves and trash bags, plus water, coffee and snacks!
