The City of Greensboro Office of Sustainability and Resilience (OSR) and its City and community partners will celebrate Earth Day with a festival at Keeley Park, Noon-4 pm, Saturday, April 25. Visitor parking is available at the sprayground parking lot, 4110 Keeley Rd. A shuttle will take visitors to the festival grounds.
This FREE, all ages event will feature sustainable living mini-workshops, guided nature walks, activities from 50+ community organizations, the wild animals of the ECO Bus, a native plant giveaway, a NEW Kid Zone and so much more!
Participating food trucks include: Taqueria El Azteca & Taco Truck, Scoop Zone, Lucian's Flame, Jamaica Coast Catering Food Truck, and The Local & The Lebanese.
This event is sponsored by the National Environmental Education Foundation, PPG Foundation, Granville Homes, SELS Solar, Duke Energy, T. Gilbert Pearson Audubon Society, and the Sierra Club Foundation.
