Celebrate Earth Day in Basalt River Park. The theme of the event is “My Future My Voice ” to encourage people to use their voice and highlight local organizations raising theirs in the environmental movement.Activities and amenities include guest speakers; solar power exhibits; electric car demos from Rivian, Ford, Chevrolet, Volkswagen and Audi; limited free compost bins; kids crafts; tree giveaways; Local beef and vegan food and drinks; a Basalt Elementary School performance at 12:30 p.m.; and live music
between speakers by local musician Natalie Spears in the bandshell.
The event is free and open to the public. Please walk, bike, use Basalt Connect or ride RFTA to get to the event.
